Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine held a meeting on the status of implementation of Presidential decrees on the enactment of the NSDC decisions on the application of sanctions to individuals and legal entities

Under the instruction of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, chaired by Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, a meeting was held on the status of implementation of Presidential decrees on the enactment of the NSDC decisions on the application of sanctions to individuals and legal entities.

During the meeting, Mr. Danilov stressed that given the aggressive information situation surrounding the implementation of the sanctions policy, “we should help strengthen coordination between all relevant structures”.

The NSDC Secretary noted that the Security Service of Ukraine should be such a coordination center.

According to Mr. Danilov, information on the application of sanctions to individuals and legal entities should be as open to society as possible. “Last year, the law on the national geospatial data infrastructure was adopted, and we must use it”, - he said.

“This is the beginning of a great work”, - the NSDC Secretary said.

According to him, “society should be informed about the imposed sanctions on individuals and legal entities in particular”.

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denys Malyuska, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Smirnov, Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Kyrylo Shevchenko, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov, heads and representatives of other state bodies participated in the meeting.
