Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk expressed his deep condolences to families and friends of pilots who died in the catastrophe of the Mi-8 helicopter in the Rivne region.

"I share the pain of your irreversible loss and express my sincere condolences and support at this difficult time. May their memory live forever...", - the NSDC Secretary said.

On Wednesday, near Sistryatyn village in Radivilivskyi district (Rivne region), the Mi-8 military helicopter crashed down, killing four crew members and the commander of the 16th separate brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Brody, Lviv region).
