Oleksiy Danilov held a meeting of the interagency working group on the preservation and reproduction of forests

In preparation for the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov held a regular meeting of the interagency working group on the preservation and reproduction of forests.

During the meeting, the NSDC Secretary stressed the need to implement effective practical solutions for the successful implementation of the initiative of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “Green Country”.

In particular, he emphasized the importance of conducting an inventory of Ukraine’s forests. According to him, the State Statistics Service should have up-to-date data on the number of trees in the country.

First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine Bohdan Borukhovsky, Head of the State Agency of Forest Resources Yuriy Bolokhovets, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Ivan Lukeria, acting Head of the Civil Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Serhiy Zavadsky, representatives of other central executive bodies, research institutions, public organizations, experts of the NSDC Staff participated in the meeting.
