Oleksiy Danilov: We will use our own weapons where we deem it necessary

Ukraine will not ask permission to use its own weapons, and can use them to defend its state. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, on the air of the TV channel "Nastoyastchee Vremya" on Wednesday, February 8 of this year.

According to Secretary of the NSDC, it is primarily about the destruction of missiles that hit Ukrainian cities.

"We will defend our state with our own weapons as we deem necessary. We have agreements with partners not to use the weapons they provide us on the territory of the russian federation. As a decent country, we abide by the agreement. There are also modern domestic means of defeat, which demonstrate excellent results", - noted Secretary of the NSDC.

The NSDC Secretary stressed that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy communicates with Western partners every day, convincing them of the need for military assistance to our country.

"We are supported by the entire civilized world. And today we can confidently say that the aid will only increase with each visit of our President to partner countries," said Oleksiy Danilov, summing up Volodymyr Zelenskyi's visit to London.

At the same time, Secretary of the NSDC assessed the importance of transferring British aircraft to Ukraine. "These wings will definitely be on the territory of our country. This is a short-term issue," he said.
