Oleksiy Danilov: The missile program is being successfully implemented

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov thanks the designers and manufacturers for the successful implementation of the missile program.

On the air of ICTV TV channel on Friday, September 1, 2023, Oleksiy Danilov reminded that yesterday President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the successful use of long-range weapons of domestic production - hitting a target at a distance of 700 km.

"In the near future, some people will have a burning sensation," he said, adding that the production of long-range weapons continues, and the range of 700 kilometers is "not an extreme limitation."

The NSDC Secretary noted that the implementation of the missile program, which has been going on since 2020, is "a complex and powerful work, and today we have results." In this context, he thanked the designers, manufacturers, and the Ministry of Strategic Industries for their hard work to accelerate our victory.

At the same time, Oleksiy Danilov said that Ukraine is not at war with the civilian population of the russian federation, but strikes exclusively at military targets.
