Nataliia Tkachuk, Head of the Information Security and Cybersecurity Service of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, met with Kateryna Kruk, Head of Regional Public Policy for Central and Eastern Europe at Meta to discuss strategic cooperation in countering information attacks and combating financial phishing.
“In a world with social media becoming an important component of information resilience, the ability of technology companies like Meta to generate changes in social media policies to protect global values is crucial. We felt this especially keenly during the russian invasion. I am grateful to Meta for supporting Ukraine, helping moderate content, and blocking russian propaganda and disinformation on their platforms. I am confident that ongoing cooperation with large technology companies will contribute to the successful implementation of advanced and effective methods of combating threats in the information and cyberspace”,– said Natalia Tkachuk.
Among other things, the meeting focused on cooperation on the Protective DNS phishing domain filtering system and countering the spread of phishing campaigns on social media.
Nataliia Tkachuk also presented Kateryna Kruk with a letter of appreciation for her personal contribution to the development of Ukraine's national cybersecurity system.
