NSDC Secretary opens the XXI International Energy Business Forum ‘5E’

energy 15102024 2.jpgSince the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, our energy sector has proved to be a driving force capable of inventing innovative solutions and solving sophisticated problems barely foreseeable a few years ago. This was emphasised by Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko on Tuesday, 15 October, at the opening of the XXI International Energy Business Forum ‘5E’.

During the forum, energy specialists and international partners were thanked for their tirelessness and dedication in supporting Ukraine's energy security. The participants also underlined that the energy business forum should become a platform for exchanging ideas that will strengthen the sustainability of the domestic energy sector. Particular attention was paid to the benefits of developing distributed generation and decentralised energy supply systems, which is an important step towards ensuring the country's energy independence.

energy 15102024 1.jpgThe 5E business forum covers the following international specialised exhibitions: Energy in Industry, EcoEnergy Expo, Electro Install, Oil & Gas Expo, Mining & Minerals Expo, and E-Comps+DigiTec. In total, about 150 companies participated, including leading domestic and foreign companies from nine countries of the world.

The key event of the forum's business programme is the IX International Congress of Power Engineers ‘Ways and Methods to Maintain the Sustainability of the Energy System, its Restoration Based on Innovative Energy Technologies’.

The dialogue involves the heads of the Ministry of Energy, NEURC, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities, industry experts, scientists, energy and electrical market specialists, community representatives, and specialists from related industries.
