Defense of Pokrovsk, replenishment of brigades, rotations, training: President of Ukraine held a meeting of the Stavka
On Monday, January 6, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. Among the issues discussed were the defense of the frontline, especially Pokrovsk, manning of brigades, rotations, and military training. The meeting also heard separate reports from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych.
‘First of all, it is the defense of our frontline areas, Pokrovsk in the first place. I am grateful to all the brigades, to each of our soldiers who are there now. We discussed the issue of manning the brigades, as well as rotation,’ Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
During the meeting, the Head of State emphasized the need for internal systemic changes in the army, ‘so that people management becomes effective at all levels in the Defense Forces‘.
The President of Ukraine also heard reports from the responsible commanders on the formation and training of our brigades.
