NSDC Secretary met with Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine

On Wednesday, 4 June, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome.

The main topic of the dialogue was the discussion of key aspects of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Japan. The parties paid special attention to the development of relations in the defence industry and strengthening Ukraine's position for peace.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine thanked Masashi Nakagome for the large-scale assistance provided by the Government and people of Japan and informed about the current security situation in our country.

For his part, the Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine stressed that Japan's support for Ukraine would remain steadfast.
