Born on 17 October 1977 in Volyn region. Citizen of Ukraine.
Higher education. In 1998, graduated from the Lviv Institute of Internal Affairs of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a law degree. In 2011, graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a degree in law enforcement management.
PhD in Economics and Professor of the Cyber Security Department of the Cyber Security Centre of the Educational and Research Institute of Information Security and Strategic Communications of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Working in the internal affairs agencies of Ukraine in various positions since 1994. For high achievements in combat and professional training, awarded with the State Award "For Impeccable Service" of the III class.
Until 2015, held senior positions at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in charge of combating cybercrime and economic crime.
From 2015 to 2019, served as the Head of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine. Under the direct leadership of S. Demediuk, Ukraine successfully implemented a project to create and establish the first law enforcement unit specialising in the detection and investigation of cybercrime - the Cyber Police.
On 21 October 2019, appointed as Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 765/2019. Also, holds the position of Deputy Head of the National Coordination Centre for Cybersecurity (a working body of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine).
Main areas of expertise: state cybersecurity, information security, critical infrastructure, public and state security.
Married and has two daughters and a son.
