Andrii KONONENKO
Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Brigadier General.
Born on 31 December 1974 in Cherkasy. Citizen of Ukraine.
In 1996, he graduated as a specialist in international relations, English language executive assistant and interpreter from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Fluent in Ukrainian, English and Russian.
Since 1998 - military service in operational, analytical and managerial positions in the Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. Awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, III class, and the Medal "For Military Service".
On 15 April 2024, Andrii Kononenko was appointed as Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine by Presidential Decree No. 229/2024.
