Concerning the situation related to the statement of Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Serhiy Kryvonos

Due to information spread by some media concerning Serhiy Kryvonos's statement, a range of significant clarifications are required.

Serhiy Kryvonos remains Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine. His removal from a number of interagency commissions and groups is connected with a reallocation of functional responsibilities and is a working process that has no political component.

It should also be noted that Serhiy Kryvonos is assigned to the NSDC Staff from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and may be returned under control of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine in accordance with the tasks set.
