Provision of Ukrainian frontline units: The President of Ukraine chaired Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting
On Friday, January 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff.
During the meeting, a report was presented by the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko, on russia’s military potential. Additionally, the issue of providing Ukrainian frontline units with necessary resources was discussed.
“Today, I held a Staff meeting. Several issues were addressed. A report by the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service on russia’s military potential and putin’s readiness to continue the war, as well as his attempts to manipulate world leaders, was presented. In particular, he aims to manipulate the U.S. President’s aspiration for peace. I am confident that no russian manipulations will succeed anymore,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President of Ukraine added that the second issue discussed at the meeting concerned ensuring all frontline units are fully supplied: “This includes weapons and personnel.”
The Head of State also expressed gratitude to all Ukrainian warriors who are holding russia accountable and delivering justice for Ukraine’s citizens, including those striking military targets on russian territory with long-range operations.
“Our army, Special Operations Forces, intelligence services—the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate— all those contributing to Ukraine’s long-range capabilities, -I thank you,” -Zelenskyy concluded.
