Oleksandr Turchynov: Successful missile launches were carried out today
Today, the planned test launches of Ukrainian missiles produced by the "Ukroboronprom" State Concern in cooperation with the State Space Agency of Ukraine were carried out. This was stated by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov.
According to him, during the test, the missile control system check and the check of hit precision at the maximum range were conducted.
"All the launches were successful. The missiles accurately hit the targets", - Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine noticed.
Mr. Turchynov stressed that
due to the implementation of the missile program approved by the NSDC, "since
the fourth quarter of 2016, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have started to receive
powerful missile weapons capable of reliable execution of complex combat
missions".
