The NSDC Staff employees take an active part in working out the issues of further development of self-governance in health care

On August 8, 2022, employees of the Staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine took part in the discussion of the future system of self-governance in the field of health care, organized by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Pursuant to the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated June 18, 2021, № 261 "On measures to increase the competitiveness of health care institutions and provide additional guarantees for medical workers", the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should develop, taking into account the best international practices, the concept of the development of medical self-governance as an effective system for the implementation of professional activity, protection of the rights and interests of medical workers.

Most countries of the European Union have passed laws, according to which a number of important regulatory functions of the health care system have been delegated to medical self-government, as well as the basic organizational principles of the professional activity of doctors have been outlined.
