Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a Staff meeting on the 2024 defence forces supply

Defence forces supply for 2024, boosting domestic military production capacities, situation on the frontline. Today, on 17 November, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff meeting.

“Today, I held a Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff meeting, with a detailed report from the Minister of Defence. On the upcoming year. On the defence forces supply. On every axis and aspect – ammunition, weapons, equipment, and accoutrements. What is currently in short supply and what objectively needs to be increased, taking into account plans of our active actions”, – he noted.

According to the President of Ukraine, during the meeting, the situation on specific frontline axes was discussed: Donetsk, Kharkiv regions, the southern axes. Reports were given by the Commander-in-Chief and Generals Syrskyi, Tarnavskyi, Moskalov, Sodol... I thank every one of our soldiers!”, – he emphasised.

Also, Volodymyr Zelenskyy issued a separate instruction to the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff regarding responding to “Kinzhal” missile carriers that disrupt our country for hours due to air alerts.”

“Our air defence capabilities and overall readiness for missile threats allow us to modernise our response somewhat – without unnecessary interruptions in the country. This is important for millions of our people. I expect corresponding proposals”, – he said in conclusion.
