President of Ukraine: We are doing our best to provide more weapons for our troops
On Monday, 6 May, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting. The meeting addressed a number of issues, including the situation at the frontline, the needs of the military, in-house production of weapons, and the receipt of assistance from partner countries.
‘Chaired Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting. The first issue was the frontline. The report of the Commander-in-Chief: he had been on the frontline, directly in the brigades. He reported on the key challenges and needs. We are getting ready. There was also a report on our in-house production of weapons and manning our brigades. We are doing our best to provide more weapons for our troops’, - said the President of Ukraine.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the meeting also discussed the supply of weapons from partners. In particular, the delivery time and the possibility to speed up the actual delivery of weapons and shells.
‘A real one. An actual one. Political decisions must be followed by real logistics - the actual receipt of weapons by our troops. All those involved must now work 24/7 with partners, including the United States’, - summed up the President of Ukraine.
