President of Ukraine signed a decree enacting the NSDC decision on the Maritime Security Strategy of Ukraine

On Wednesday, 17 July, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree enacting the decision of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine on the Maritime Security Strategy of Ukraine.

"This document embraces the security changes and innovations that we have implemented, in particular in the Black Sea, in the development of our forces", - emphasised Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He also added that Ukraine is implementing the Maritime Security Strategy jointly with its partners.

"In the near future, I am going to discuss the details of this strategy with them. With those who, just like us, want stable security for their regions and the whole world", - said the President of Ukraine.

The Strategy was developed with the support of government officials, the military, intelligence agencies and representatives of civil society of Ukraine.
