Dear Ukrainians, all those who defend our country. Everyone who works for our country. Everyone who feels Ukraine as their own home.

Today, as always, on the eve of our Independence Day, we honour the Ukrainian national colours - our Flag, which has led the Ukrainian people through history for centuries. We are united by these colours, we are united by this flag with many generations of Ukrainians who fought for Ukraine, who liberated our land from invaders, who dreamed of an independent Ukraine and who created our national statehood.

Our blue and yellow colours represent the entire experience of the Ukrainian people, the memory of Ukrainians and the path of Ukraine, which has never been easy, but which has made our people so. They are as brave as the people of the Cossack family have always been and will always be, as strong as they are, as they inspire the whole world, restoring confidence not only for themselves but also for people of other nations that there is still a place for justice in our world. Because in this war, we are now, first and foremost, winning back for Ukraine, for Ukrainians, the right to justice, to our own freedom, to our national dignity, to our own security, to our own state.

And that the criminals who came to destroy Ukraine and who brought the ruins to our home will definitely have ruins at home. Also, the historical path of Ukraine and the spirit of our national colours have taught us that Ukrainians rise, that Ukraine becomes stronger and achieves its goals only when our people are truly united. When we are united for the sake of the blue and yellow flag, for the sake of Ukraine, when we recognise our loved ones when we see the blue and yellow ribbon, when we are each other's brothers, when we care for Ukraine together and defend Ukraine together, and when this Ukrainian unity is not brought down by any internal disputes at crucial moments, we achieve results together that change history.

Dear Ukrainians! We are living in a crucial time for Ukraine, we are defending our independence and we will defend it. We are pushing the occupier out of Ukraine and will not let his tricolours rest. And we have to rebuild Ukraine, our home, after this war, so that our Ukrainian blue and yellow flags can fly as Ukraine deserves, over a proud land and in the midst of a safe, free and European life.

Glory to all those who fight and work for Ukraine. Eternal gratitude to all the Heroes of different times who fought for Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine!
