How to weaken russia's ties with its allies: President of Ukraine chairs Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff meeting
On Monday, 14 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff meeting to discuss the operational situation along the entire frontline, including the fighting in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions and the defence of the Armed Forces in Kursk region.
‘I chaired a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported on the operational situation. Active operations are taking place along the entire frontline, but the fighting is particularly fierce in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove axis. russians have been trying to break through our defences in Kursk region for five days. Our guys are holding on and counterattacking,' noted the President of Ukraine.
In the course of the meeting, representatives of theDefence Inteligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine presented a thorough analysis of who supports Russia in the war against Ukraine and how to weaken these criminal alliances.
‘The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine provided in-depth analysis of who exactly is helping russia wage its war of aggression against Ukraine - militarily, economically, politically, openly and covertly - and what steps we, our partners, need to take to weaken these criminal alliances,’ emphasised Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The meeting also heard a report from the Ministry of Defence on contracting for the current and next periods, including the use of partner assistance, and on the investments of our key partners in the Ukrainian defence industry.
