Victory Plan and drones that can shoot down Shaheds: President of Ukraine held a lengthy meeting
On Friday, 25 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a lengthy meeting following a recent meeting with representatives of civil society. The meeting was attended by Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko, intelligence officials, military and government officials.
'The key issues are what is currently limiting Ukraine's capabilities and how to address it. We are planning to involve civil society in the work on the internal Victory Plan. I have instructed to develop the format of the technological Staff's meeting. The highest priority is drones, of course. Including drones that can shoot down Shaheds and other attack drones. I instructed the Defence Inteligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, to take special care when it comes to the release of civilians from russian captivity. At present, the results are insufficient,’ the President of Ukraine noted.
During the meeting, the participants elaborated on certain legislative changes, as well as sanctions policy and diplomacy.
‘In a few weeks, I will hear the results,’ Volodymyr Zelenskyy summed up.
