Oleksandr Lytvynenko held a working meeting with Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome

On Tuesday, November 26, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Masashi Nakagome at the NSDC Secretariat.

During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to current areas of cooperation in the security sector.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine thanked Masashi Nakagome for Japan's effective support and assistance and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. He noted that the development of relations between the two countries is one of the key priorities of diplomacy set by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

For his part, Masashi Nakagome emphasized that he was honored to be in Ukraine and represent Japan at this important and difficult time for our country. He assured that Japan's support for Ukraine would remain unchanged.
