Ukraine and Canada are interested in strengthening their strategic partnership: Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with Ambassador of Canada Natalie Tsmitz

On Friday, January 10, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Canada Shoyne Boyd.

The parties discussed the current security situation in the country, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest for cooperation between Ukraine and Canada.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko thanked the government and people of Canada for their steadfast and unwavering support of Ukraine's sovereignty and independence.

For her part, Ambassador of Canada Natalka Cmoc assured that Canada will continue to work closely with the Ukrainian government, particularly in the security sector.

The parties confirmed their interest in strengthening the strategic partnership.
