NSDC Secretary met with a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada
On Tuesday, January 14, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada headed by David Angel, Director and Deputy Minister of International Security and Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine Natalka Cmoc.
The parties discussed the current security situation, security guarantees for Ukraine, as well as prospects for further assistance to our country in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine thanked the Government and people of Canada for their unwavering support, including important defense assistance, and emphasized Ukraine's clear and understandable position - to achieve a just and sustainable peace.
David Angel, Director and Deputy Minister of International Security and Political Affairs of Global Affairs Canada, assured of his country's strong position in supporting the Ukrainian people in their struggle for freedom.
The two sides agreed to enhance interaction in bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation.
