The Ukrainian army is the key factor of deterrence of Putin's aggression and preservation of security in Europe. This was stated by the NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov in his comment.

According to him, the meeting of the Security Council of Russia is a continuation of the promotion of dirty provocation against our country launched yesterday by the FSB of Russia and President Putin.

To Mr. Turchynov's opinion, the purpose of such actions is evident - to thwart a peaceful way of stopping the aggression and the liberation of the occupied territories, to intensify escalation and create preconditions for conflict and further aggressive actions of Russia.

"The only thing that today is holding back the deployment of a new stage of the military aggression against our country - is the Kremlin leadership's understanding of the inevitability of big losses from confrontation with our army", - Oleksandr Turchynov said.

"Today, our Armed Forces, the National Guard and other military units are the key factor of deterrence of Putin's aggression against Ukraine", - the NSDC Secretary noted adding that it is also the main argument of preservation of security in Europe.

"That is why, - Mr. Turchynov believes, - we need to duly support and finance our army and, despite the opposition of many populists and traitors with deputies' seats, to ensure that this year defense budget is carried out and to draw up adequate budget of the security and defense sector for the next year.

"Our enemies have to understand that they will never put Ukraine to its knees", - he concluded.
