The NSDC Secretary met with the delegation of the NATO Representation to Ukraine
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk held a meeting met with the NATO delegation led by Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine, Alexander Vinnikov.
The parties discussed prospects for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration, accomplished tasks under the NATO-Ukraine annual national program and strategic plans.
Mr. Vinnikov was informed about the priority areas of work of the NSDC of Ukraine, including, in particular, cybersecurity and reform of the defense-industrial complex, and positively assessed the start of work on the National Security Strategy of Ukraine.
Mr. Danyliuk noticed that to implement the plans, it is a priority to reform the legislation in these spheres, and the NSDC is currently working on its improvement.
At the same time, the Head of the NATO Representation noted that security sector reform would have a positive impact on Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration process and assured of NATO's support for reform.
