Ukraine is grateful to the United States for providing military, financial and economic assistance, resolute and consistent support for the independence and territorial integrity of our country.

In such a way, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov commented on the information about the provision of the U.S.’s security assistance to Ukraine.

Yesterday, the U.S. Embassy's Office of Defense Cooperation received more than $60 million of equipment to transfer to our Ukrainian partners, including radios, ammunition, and Javelin anti-tank missiles.

“We are grateful to the United States for its resolute and consistent support for the independence and territorial integrity of our country, as well as its movement towards democratic reforms”, - Mr. Danilov said. – the U.S.’s assistance is critical to defending Ukraine from external aggression”.

“Military-technical cooperation between Ukraine and the United States is actively developing”, - the NSDC Secretary added. In this context, he noted that openness to strategic partners in informing about security sector reform is crucial for Ukraine. According to him, Ukraine’s course towards implementing the reform of the defense-industrial complex, taking into account the best world experience, remains unchanged.

“Our state is interested in reforming its defense industry in accordance with the best Western standards”, - the NSDC Secretary said.
