The security and defense sector of Ukraine has been financed in the amount of 30 billion hryvnias or 100% of the plan

The Staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine continues to monitor and analyze the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of November 5, 2020 “On Proposals to the Draft Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021” in regards to articles related to national security and defense of Ukraine, enacted by the Decree of the President of Ukraine of November 5, 2020, № 486.

During January-February this year, financing of the needs of the security and defense sector was carried out in accordance with the monthly schedule of allocations in full scope.

During this period, the security and defense sector subjects were financed in the amount of 30 027,4 million hryvnias or 100% of the plan.

In addition, the security and defense sector subjects took relevant measures to ensure the planned revenues to the special fund of the state budget.

As part of monitoring the implementation of the above NSDC decision for a report to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Secretary of the Council Oleksiy Danilov instructed the NSDC Staff to analyze and prepare relevant proposals on the state of financing of the security and defense sector in the first quarter of 2021.
