Oleksiy Danilov: Support from our partners will increase

If other fronts open, it would help Ukraine a lot. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov stated this on-air at the national telethon on Saturday.

“After Nagorno-Karabakh imposed martial law on its territory today, Armenia addressed Russia to help them with troops. But Russia withdrew troops from there and sent them to Ukraine last week, - he said. - Today, the help which Russia promised to Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia is unlikely to appear there”.

The NSDC Secretary also noticed that after Japan’s statement on its ownership of four islands of the Kuril ridge, Russia launched drills there with a small number of soldiers, as “all of them were sent here”.

“It is unknown at this time what will be the end. If today both Moldova and Georgia were engaged in returning their territories, it would help us a lot”, - Mr. Danilov noticed.

The NSDC Secretary also commended the results of the meeting of Ukrainian Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs Oleksiy Reznikov and Dmytro Kuleba with their American counterparts and U.S. President Joseph Biden, which took place in Poland today.

Mr. Danilov pointed out that the meeting in such a format is an unconventional story. These are the achievements of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and of our diplomacy, he said adding that judging by the statement of the U.S. President, support from our partners will increase.
