O. Danilov: The Armed Forces will force the russian occupiers to leave the entire territory of Ukraine, including the temporarily occupied Crimea
Ukraine will liberate Crimea by military means, if necessary. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, at the solemn events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Delivering a congratulatory speech, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine noted that the anniversary of the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, "we should celebrate at his home" next year. "I think, as a man who always keeps his word, he will definitely invite me," O. Danilov added.
According to him, the Armed Forces will force the russian occupiers to leave the entire territory of Ukraine, including Crimea, which was temporarily occupied in 2014. "There is a person in the neighboring capital who says that he is not kidding about the fact that they will defend something there," he said. - We are not going to joke either. It is not a joke that we will liberate Crimea, and if necessary by military means, we will do it."
As part of the panel discussion, the participants discussed the steps already taken to liberate the Crimean Peninsula and the prospects on this path. According to O. Danilov, "we have a plan, and not just one." "When it comes to protecting our Constitution, we have the right and must liberate all our territories. And so it will be - it's only a matter of time." The concrete plan for the liberation of Crimea, noted the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, "will depend on many circumstances."
