Oleksiy Danilov: There will no longer be any Russian projects such as the Party of Regions or the Regional Government on the territory of Ukraine
Ukraine will not sign any "peace agreements" with the russian federation. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, announced this on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, on TV Channel 24.
"russia has a great desire to achieve a truce in this war by any means. They seek to sign some agreements, take a certain period of time, and strike Ukraine again," he said.
According to Oleksiy Danilov, one of the options that russia is considering is the signing of interim armistice documents. At the same time, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine noted, the russians are trying to promote the "disgusting "second Ukraine" project, the author of which is medvedchuk and his agents in Ukraine, "who "broadcast" in russian on certain channels and tell us how we should continue to live".
All these attempts, he said, are "a waste of time and money of russians on various projects." "It did not pass and it will not pass. There is no chance that we will sign anything with them today, no one is going to conduct any negotiations with putin's russia," Oleksiy Danilov said, adding that there will no longer be any russian projects such as the party of regions or the opposition platform for life on the territory of our state.
Speaking about the situation at the front, Secretary of the NSDC noted that the situation in the Bakhmut region of Donetsk region remains difficult. At the same time, he said that Ukrainian defenders are destroying russian troops, military equipment and weapons in this direction.
Oleksiy Danilov said that all temporarily occupied territories will be liberated. "Today, our army is certainly not the second in the world, because it proved on the battlefield that it is the first," he said.
Regarding the ability of the russian federation to wage a long war, Secretary of the NSDC noted that the russian federation is unable to transfer the economy to the rails of wartime, the ability of the russian defense industry to develop is "approaching zero."
The West, he emphasized, must prepare for the collapse of russia.
Answering questions about the explosions on the territory of the russian federation, Secretary of the NSDC said that he did not know "who, what and where they are flying in russia." "There is a war, how do we know who is flying from where? It's not our territory, we don't see who is fighting there," Oleksiy Danilov remarked ironically.
At the same time, he said, "if the russians think that they will be in peace on their territory, and we will be kept constantly in tension, then they are deeply mistaken."
