A meeting of the NCSCC Working Group on Cooperation with CCDCOE was held at the Staff of the NSDC
On August 8, 2023, a meeting of the working group of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center at the NSDC of Ukraine on cooperation with the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE) was held at the Staff of the NSDC of Ukraine under the chairmanship of Serhiy Demedyuk, Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, Deputy Head of the NCSCC.
The meeting was attended by experts from the Staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and intelligence agencies.
"Cooperation between the NCSCC and the CCDCOE is an important factor in effective joint counteraction to threats in cyberspace. Properly established interaction will allow us to exchange experience with partners, develop innovative approaches and work together to ensure reliable and sustainable cyberspace, which is an important aspect of the national security of our state and NATO member states," Serhiy Demediuk said.
During the event, a Roadmap for cooperation between Ukraine and the CCDCOE was agreed upon. The issues of representation of Ukrainian cybersecurity entities in the Crossed Swords 2023 cyber exercises, which are scheduled to be held under the auspices of the Center in Tallinn (Estonia) in the first decade of December this year, were discussed.
The participants also heard a report from the NCSCC representative to the CCDCOE on the results of the Center's work in recent months and on planned activities.
