“We will retaliate fiercely”: Oleksii Danilov on the retaliation for russian attacks at Ukrainian energy facilities

The Ukrainian Defence Forces will retaliate for russian attacks at Ukraine’s energy facilities. The statement was made today, on 26 October, on the air of the United News telethon by Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksii Danilov commenting on the recent russian missile attacks at Khmelnytskyi region, including the nuclear power plant.

“Last night’s shelling is yet another signal to the world that the war must be ended as soon as possible, and for this we need as much help as possible”, – he emphasised.

Secretary of the NSDC confirmed the words of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the preparation for possible russian shelling of our energy system. He said that such enemy attacks will not go unretaliated.

“We must retaliate for their every action, and we will do it fiercely”, – assured Oleksii Danilov.
