Zelenskyy held the Staff: security within the Black Sea region was discussed

Today, on the International Black Sea Action Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. A range of matters was discussed, inter alia the security in Odesa region, the frontline, weaponry, sea, strengthening the air defence.

“Long-lasting, important Staff. Unimpeded operation of the “grain corridor”. Combating enemy actions that jeopardise peaceful navigation. Reducing the capabilities of the enemy fleet”, – highlighted Volodymyr Zelensky.

President of Ukraine emphasised the security of Odesa region, in particular he raised the issues of protecting people, energy facilities, port infrastructure, strengthening the regional air defence system, etc.

Besides, there were discussions on the situation at the frontline was discussed, in particular in Kupiansk, Avdiivka, Kherson; as well as on building up domestic production of NATO-standard artillery systems and artillery shells.
