Frontline supplies, protection of the critical infrastructure: President of Ukraine chairs the Staff meeting
Today, on 9 January, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff meeting where they discussed supplying the frontline with shells and drones, and strengthening the protection of cities, communities, enterprises and critical infrastructure.
“Significant Staff meeting. In-person participation of all major commanders and heads of operations. Together with tem, the General Staff, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, we analysed the supply of shells and drones in detail. Actual costs, daily needs, distribution among units,” – outlined Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He highlighted that at the meeting, the Staff members have systematised current and future contracts, assistance from our partners, and our own production, including the opening of new lines: “We are doing the utmost to provide our soldiers with everything they need to perform their tasks.”
The President of Ukraine elaborated on the analysis of the latest russian strikes and the effectiveness of the Ukrainian Air Force.
“Another important topic is air defence. We have analysed the latest russian strikes and the effectiveness of the Air Force. We have agreed on our next steps to enhance the protection of our cities, communities, enterprises and critical infrastructure”, –emphasised Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
