Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Ukraine
Ukraine needs peace for decades, not a two-year truce. This was emphasised by Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko during a meeting with a delegation from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine on Friday, 24 May.
The parties discussed a number of matters, the main one being preparations for the Global Peace Summit in June in Switzerland. According to Oleksandr Lytvynenko, this summit will be one of the steps towards building a new global security architecture.
For his part, Jennes de Mol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine, said that his country would continue to support our country and emphasised the importance of cooperation.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the current military and political situation in Ukraine and the need for additional air defence equipment.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their hope for continued and enhanced cooperation.
