NSDC Secretary met with representatives of the German Centre for Liberal Modernity
On Monday, 26 August, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with co-founders of the German think tank Liberal Modernity Marieluise Beck and Ralf Fücks. The Centre is known for its active support of Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression and for raising awareness of Ukraine in German society.
Oleksandr Lytvynenko briefed the German partners on the current military, political and security situation in Ukraine and thanked the members of the delegation for their attention to our country, support for its sovereignty and clear stance on russian aggression.
For his part, Ralf Fücks, co-founder and managing partner of the Centre for Liberal Modernity, expressed his support for the Ukrainian people in their struggle and assured that the Centre would continue to promote the dissemination of information about the situation in Ukraine in the international arena.
The parties highlighted the importance of further development of the Ukrainian-German partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral contacts and cooperation.
For reference: One of the main projects of the Centre for Liberal Modernity is the "Ukraine verstehen" project. It aims to overcome the information deficit about Ukraine in Germany. The project provides the German audience with up-to-date, independent and objective information on the political, economic, social and cultural development of Ukraine.
