NSDC Office and Association of Small Towns of Ukraine sign Memorandum of Cooperation

On Tuesday, 15 October, the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine and the Association of Small Towns of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation during the XXI International Energy Business Forum ‘5E’.

The document was signed by the Head of the Office Dmytro Anikin and the Chairman of the Association of Small Towns of Ukraine Pavlo Kozyrev.

The Memorandum is aimed at organising interaction and cooperation for the formation and practical implementation of measures to strengthen the capacities of territorial communities, introduce modern tools and effective solutions for their development, as well as strengthen the relevant information and analytical component of the NSDC's activities.

For reference: The Association of Ukrainian Cities is an all-Ukrainian association of local self-government bodies that represents the position and protects the interests of local self-government, and conducts a dialogue with public authorities at all levels on behalf of communities. It was established in 1992 on the initiative of town mayors.
