Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with the delegation of the EU Delegation to Ukraine
On Thursday, 31 October, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation of the EU Delegation to Ukraine headed by the Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine Katarina Mathernová.
The parties discussed the current situation on the frontline, long-term security guarantees for Ukraine, our country's path to EU and NATO membership, and exchanged views on the conditions for economic recovery in Ukraine and investment protection mechanisms.
Oleksandr Lytvynenko noted that the war in Ukraine lasts almost 1,000 days and one of the key factors of Ukraine's resilience is the support of international partners.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine informed the delegation that work is currently underway to develop an internal Victory Plan, whose main task is to create conditions for maximising the stability of the front and the capacity of the rear.
For her part, Katarina Mathernová assured that the European Union is committed to continuing its large-scale support for Ukraine, and reiterated the EU's readiness to continue to uphold the inviolability of the principles of international law.
