Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation of the GLOBSEC analytical centre
On Tuesday, November 5, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine met with a delegation of the GLOBSEC international non-governmental think tank headed by Senior Vice President John Barter.
Oleksandr Lytvynenko briefed the center's representatives on the current situation in Ukraine's energy system in view of the risks posed by Russian military aggression and the assistance needed to restore this sector.
He also drew the interlocutors' attention to the work being done on Ukraine's internal Victory Plan and emphasized that one of the main objectives of the document is to ensure unity and stability within the country.
The parties paid special attention to the security situation, defense needs, and the need to increase sanctions pressure against Russia.
On behalf of the delegation, GLOBSEC Senior Vice President John Barter assured of full support for our country in the fight against the Russian aggressor and emphasized that the center would remain a friend of Ukraine. The parties reaffirmed their intention to continue close cooperation in the preparation of analytical documents.
