Oleksandr Lytvynenko discussed implementation of the Peace Formula with foreign experts
On Friday, November 8, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation of foreign experts led by Bob Deen, coordinator of the Center for Russia and Eastern Europe at the Clingendael Institute, a leading think tank in the Netherlands. Among those present were researchers and scholars from India, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, and Germany.
The event was dedicated to the implementation of the Peace Formula, an initiative of the President of Ukraine to achieve a just end to the war waged by Russia against Ukraine.
Addressing the audience, Oleksandr Lytvynenko emphasized Ukraine's clear and understandable position - the implementation of the Peace Formula will ensure sustainable peace for generations and will be a step towards building a new post-war security architecture in the world.
The NSDC Secretary emphasized that our country is open to dialogue with partner countries that are ready to make efforts to achieve a just peace in Ukraine.
On behalf of the delegation, Bob Dean, Coordinator of the Center for russia and Eastern Europe, expressed his support for Ukraine and added that the participants share and support the foreign policy principle of “nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine.”
He also noted that the Clingendael Institute is ready to cooperate with Ukraine on the way to implementing the Peace Formula.
The meeting also focused on security guarantees for Ukraine, the situation on the front line, and preparations of our energy system for the winter.
