Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands
On Thursday, November 21, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD Geneva). The parties discussed a number of issues. Among them were strengthening the security component of Ukraine, supporting our country on its path to EU and NATO membership, and implementing the Victory Plan of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Oleksandr Lytvynenko emphasized that Ukraine is interested in achieving a sustainable and just peace, which will be a step towards building a new post-war security architecture. He also informed the audience about the situation on the front line and Ukraine's current needs to fight the Russian aggressor. He emphasized that Ukraine continues to need weapons and to strengthen its air defense system to repel Russian air attacks.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Dutch side for the consistent support of our country since the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion and the signing of the Agreement on Security Cooperation between Ukraine and the Netherlands.
For his part, Wouter Jurgens, Director of the Security Policy Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, assured of his unwavering support for Ukraine and readiness to strengthen and deepen bilateral cooperation.
The parties expressed hope for continued cooperation.
