Ukraine’s participation in the exhibition of armament in Thailand is an opportunity to establish cooperation with the countries of the Asian region, – Oleg Hladkovskiy

Ukraine's participation in the international armament exhibition "Defense&Security-2015", which takes place in Bangkok (Kingdom of Thailand), provides an opportunity to establish cooperation with all countries in the Asian region. This was stated by First Deputy to the Secretary of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy during his communication with journalists after official talks at the exhibition.

"It is quite obvious that for Ukraine the Asian region in terms of military-technical cooperation is a window of opportunities, which we should use to the full. Representing Ukrainian product at such exhibitions, we will have a real chance to prove ourselves worthy and in the future to talk about real contracts not only with Thailand, but also with other countries of this part of the world", - he stated.

Oleg Hladkovskiy also reminded that nowadays between Ukraine and Thailand contracts for supply of armored personnel carriers and tanks are being executed.

"I am confident that soon it will be possible to talk about deepening of the respective cooperation. We have enough areas of defense industry, in which we will be able to offer a lot of things and to work fruitfully", - First Deputy to NSDC Secretary emphasized.

During the official talks under the framework of exhibition Vice-Prime Minister - Minister of Defense of Thailand Prawit Wongsuwon said: "I am grateful that you have visited the exhibition, inasmuch as it will become another opportunity to deepen relations between our countries".

Following the results of the high-level meeting, Ukrainian party has invited Thailand representatives to visit Ukraine and get acquainted with the latest Ukrainian developments in military sphere.
