"The lessons of "hybrid war": the military aspects" scientific-practical conference took place in the in the General Staff with the participation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov and Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko presented the keynote reports.

The participants of the conference discussed the issues of the potential risks and threats to national security of Ukraine and the priority measures to counter them.

The possible ways of development of the situation in the sphere of national and international security and effective means of countering Russian aggression in the east and the south of the country, taking into account the peculiarities of "hybrid war", were also considered.

Generals and officers of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Border Guard Service and top-management of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine also attended the conference.
