Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov inspected the objects of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov carried out an inspection of the objects of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (FISU).

Mr. Turchynov focused on the technical supplying of the FISU units of different orientation, the conditions of work of intelligence officers, problematic issues that should be considered.

As a result of the inspection, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine emphasized the high intellectual potential of the staff of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and underscored that some technical developments of the FISU specialists have no analogs in the world.

At the same time, Mr. Turchynov stressed that the technical support of the FISU should be harmonized with the most advanced standards of special services of the NATO member states.

At the final meeting, it was stressed that in the nearest time, the NSDC of Ukraine would consider the problematic issues of the FISU operation and send proposals to the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
