First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Colonel General Mykhailo Koval held a meeting of the interagency working group on preparing proposals to strengthen the state's defense capability, devoted to the issues of improving the system of territorial defense.

The participants of the meeting held at the Staff of the NSDC of Ukraine discussed the priority tasks, terms to accomplish them and the procedure for further work of the interagency working group for the next year.

By the Decree of the President of Ukraine of December 21, 2019, № 922, Mr. Koval was appointed chairman of the interagency working group on preparing proposals to strengthen the state's defense capability.
