O. Danilov: The enemy will not force Ukraine to surrender by trying to destroy its energy system
The enemy will not force Ukraine to surrender by trying to destroy its energy system. This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, on the air of the national telethon on Thursday, November 3 of this year.
O. Danilov reminded that the destruction of Ukraine remains the goal of putin's regime, and therefore, without winning a victory on the battlefield, the russian federation resorts to humanitarian terrorism, exposing critical infrastructure on which the lives of citizens depend.
The Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine noted that the domestic energy system was being prepared for operation in the conditions of military operations. He reminded that Ukraine has connected to the European energy system, and noted that the government headed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi is currently working on obtaining comprehensive assistance in the restoration of destroyed energy facilities. "I am sure that the world will help the further, the more," said O. Danilov.
According to him, all possible measures are being taken to protect critical infrastructure and maintain its operation at the proper level so that our citizens suffer as little as possible from aggression.
"Our position is simple, and the President articulated it clearly: let them take away from our land, we don't need anything extra, but we will not give away ours, we will protect our land," he emphasized. According to O. Danilov, russians need to understand once and for all that we are not one nation, we are different.
He also noted that the sooner the russian federation is recognized as a terrorist country by the entire world community, the sooner victory will come.
