Ukraine has extended martial law and mobilisation: President of Ukraine signed laws
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws extending martial law and general mobilisation in Ukraine for 90 days – until 14 February 2024.
This is the ninth extension since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion. The first time martial law was introduced in the country and general mobilisation was announced on 24 February 2022. Subsequently, martial law and general mobilisation were extended by the Parliament until 25 April, 25 May, 23 August, 21 November 2022, and 19 February, 20 May, 18 August, and 15 November 2023.
