Production of weapons, testing of new types of missiles, and protection of energy facilities: The President of Ukraine held a meeting of the Supreme Command
On Tuesday, December 3, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff to discuss weapons production.
“I have held a meeting of the Chiefs of Staff. The main issue was reports on contracts for our weapons production in Ukraine. A significant amount of new and long-term orders for drones: FPV, also reconnaissance drones, long-range drones, missile drones,” the President of Ukraine noted.
During the meeting, the participants also discussed the national missile program, including the development, ordering and delivery of missiles.
“There was a report on the testing of new types of missiles. We can thank our Ukrainian missile developers. We are accelerating production,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
Separately, the participants of the meeting considered the issue of contracts for the production of artillery.
“Today I also held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of Energy and the Commander of the Air Force.
We reported on the protection of energy facilities and restoration work. We have identified additional priorities in negotiations with partners on air defense for Ukraine,” the President summarized.
