Ending the war in Ukraine is the key to Europe's security. This was emphasized by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko on Tuesday, December 10, during a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Estonia headed by Prime Minister Kristen Mihal.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the security situation, economic and defense priorities of our country, sanctions policy towards Russia, prospects for further strengthening cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, and Ukraine's progress towards NATO and the EU.
The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine congratulated the Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Mihal on his first working visit to Ukraine and thanked the Estonian people for their feasible and constant assistance to our country.
For his part, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia expressed support for the Ukrainian people on behalf of the delegation and emphasized that Ukraine is an integral part of Europe, which is why its security is important for European content.
Kristen Mihal emphasized that Estonia welcomes Ukraine's chosen direction of movement to the EU and NATO, and added that supporting Ukraine to victory will remain Estonia's priority.
The parties expressed hope for deepening bilateral relations.
